But instead took a lie.
In a moment when you had a weakness,
I will always be your rock.
You need me,
I wish you would just admit it.
Admit it even in a letter.
Sent off in the wind.
To be found by a stranger.
Simply stating you'd be stuck without me.
Because if we stare down our future's together...
Excuse me for saying, hey, there could be twists by each other.
But, I'm a stupid, silly girl.
Who doesn't see reality, but dancing among the clouds
Where problems are small, and the easy fixes are totally possible.
If you'd only see.
If you'd only understand.
But, I can't make you do anything.
Until...then.
I'll be your rock, and stupid, silly rock.
But one who protects you, lets you fall upon
When you need help or are in trouble.
